Our Programs

Three program tracks. One goal: independence.

Every adult we serve has a different starting point. Our programs are designed to flex — combining vocational training, community-based supports, and personalized services in whatever combination fits.

ADVP

Adult Developmental Vocational Program

A structured work-skills program designed to teach adults with IDD the practical job skills, work habits, communication abilities, and social competencies needed for meaningful employment — whether sheltered, supported, or competitive.

Best for: Adults who are exploring work for the first time, building stamina and task tolerance, or preparing for a transition to community employment.

Day Supports

Day Supports & Community Networking

Daily structure built around the things that make life rich — art, music, recreation, friendships, volunteer work, community outings, and learning. Funded through Long Term Community Supports and the Innovations Waiver.

Best for: Adults who benefit from structured daily activity, social engagement, and ongoing support rather than vocational training.

How It Works

From first call to first day

Most families start with one phone call. Here's what happens next.

Initial Conversation

You call or send us a message. Our intake coordinator listens, answers your questions, and helps you understand which programs might fit.

Eligibility & Funding

We help you confirm eligibility and identify the funding source — Innovations Waiver, LTCS, ADVP, or private pay. We walk you through documents needed.

Tour & Assessment

You visit our College Avenue campus, meet our staff, and we complete a person-centered assessment with the participant to understand their goals and needs.

Welcome & First Day

We build a transition plan together, coordinate transportation, and welcome the participant into the program at a pace that works for them.

Transportation

We pick up. We drop off.

Our company vans run routes across Caldwell County every morning and afternoon, removing one of the biggest barriers families face.

Transportation is included for participants whose funding source covers it (most do). If you have questions about whether transportation is available for your address, our intake coordinator can confirm during your first call.

Your first call is just a conversation.

No commitment, no paperwork — just a chance to ask questions, understand options, and figure out whether COI is the right fit for your loved one.
